trigger warning // mention of death
We are immortal. “Why? How?”
Have you ever stood up for a point until it was proven wrong? Well, I believe I am immortal. I don’t know wether that’s wrong until I’m proven otherwise. But how can I be proven wrong if I’m not aware I’m dying–while dying, of course. What if I die peacefully in my sleep? I(the one attached to this physical body) would never know I died. So that means I’ve never been proven wrong. I’ve never been proven that I am not immortal. Therefore, I must be immortal. So are you, or anyone else. Sure, others around will say I’m not immortal. But *I* haven’t been proven wrong. If they belived I was immortal, then yes: they would come to the conclusion that I’m not immortal. But, at the same time, I know for a fact I am immortal because I haven’t seen evidence to disprove my statement. I am immortal until proven otherwise.
